Security Menu

The Security menu contains commands used to maintain the files and run the processes used by security for the module. In addition there are several security reports you can run from this menu.

Security Menu Items
Program Record	View and maintain the program record fields that pertain to the security functions. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + s] [Alt] [s] [ENTER]
Security Set Descriptions	View and maintain the security set descriptions that contain the programs for the security set. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + s] [Alt] [s] [ENTER]
Operator Signon	View and maintain the operator numbers and passwords used for security signon. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + s] [Alt] [s] [s] [ENTER]
Operator Signon Security Settings	View and maintain the functions within the security set the operator is allowed to access. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + s] [Alt] [s] [s] [s] [ENTER]
Copy Operator Security Settings	Copies all the signon clearances from an existing operator to a new operator. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + s] [Alt] [s] [y]
Create Operator Security Settings	Creates operator authorization to access functions for selected security sets. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + s] [Alt] [s] [r]
Remove Operator Security Settings	Removes all security settings for a specified operator.
Remove All Operator Security Settings	Removes all security settings for all operators.
Remove All Security Set Descriptions	Removes all security sets and associated functions for the module.
Reset Program Record Restrictions	Note: WebHelp for this topic is not available.
Operator List Instructions	Lists the operator numbers and their names.
Operator Work Sheets Instructions	Prints the operator work sheets that you can fill out for each operator and the security sets they can access.
Operator Security Set Report Instructions	Lists the security set functions the operator is authorized to use.
Security Parameters	View and maintain the parameters that control security for the module. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + s] [Alt] [s] [p] [p]
