Field Description - Other Pay Earnings Totals

The fields for Other Pay Earnings Totals contain various totals accumulated during the current year for the Other Pay Amount Paid.

Notes:

• Other Pay amounts include Vacation Pay, Sick Pay, Holiday Pay, and other types of pay.

• The Payroll Post process updates these fields, so you do not normally need to edit them.

• You can view the MTD, QTD, and YTD totals for an Other Pay Code for a specific employee during Employee Totals Master Maintenance in the Employee Other Pay Totals Area.  YTD totals also appear in the YTD Totals Area.

• You can view MTD totals and totals for each of the four quarters in the current year during Employee Quarterly Totals Maintenance in the Employee Quarterly Totals Area.

• You can view the MTD, QTD, and YTD totals for an Other Pay Code for all employees during Other Pay Master Maintenance.

• You can view the totals for all five pay periods during Employee Weekly Totals Maintenance in the Weekly Totals Area.

• You can view MTD totals for any month within the current year during Employee Monthly Totals Maintenance in the Earnings Totals Area.

• Shift differential values, which are identified by the Other Pay Type (7 - Shift Differential), are included in Regular Earnings Totals instead of in Other Pay Earnings Totals.

• The Period End Clear process clears these fields when you specify a calendar clear.
