Use the User Defined Fields Area in Employee Master Maintenance to enter data for the user-defined fields.  The table following the window example describes the fields in this area.

Enter the Employee Numeric User Defined Field 1.  (4.0 numeric)

Note:  If your municipality is set up for expanded Appropriations Account Numbers, you can enter the Appropriations Account Number here or in the Employee Information Area Department Number field.  Enter only the digits, because the dashes are automatically embedded for you.  For more information, refer to Understanding Expanded Appropriations Account Numbers.
