Employee Master Maintenance - Employee Number Area
Use the Employee Number Area in Employee Master Maintenance to enter the Employee Number, Date of Hire, Termination Date and contract information. The table following the window example describes the fields in this area.
Directions:
To display the Employee Number Area, which is located in the main Employee Master Maintenance window, open Employee Master Maintenance.

Enter the Employee Number assigned to this employee. (up to 7 digits) Required Note: If you omit leading zeros, the system automatically fills them in. For example, if you enter 9988, the system displays 009988. | |
To update the new or changed information, click Save, or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + s] | |
CAUTION To avoid losing data, you must save new or changed employees. | |
You can use Search to view all of the existing employees. From the Search list you can select an employee to change or delete. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + r] | |
To display an existing employee, enter the Employee Number and click Retrieve, or press [ENTER] . Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + t] | |
Enter the Employee Date of Birth. (MM/DD/CCYY) | |
Enter the Employee Date of Hire. (MM/DD/CCYY) | |
Enter the Employee Date of Termination. (MM/DD/CCYY) Note: For information about the consequences of terminating an employee click the field hyperlink. | |
Enter the Employee Date of Contract Termination, if applicable. (MM/DD/CCYY) Note: The Contract Date applies only to municipalities. | |
Enter the Employee Contract Amount, if applicable. (7.2 numeric) Note: The Contract Amount applies only to municipalities. |
