Field Description - Registration Expiration Date
The Registration Expiration Date is the date the registration expires. The Expiration Date must be a maximum of one day less than thirteen months from the Effective Date with the following exceptions. For Class Codes TL and CL (non-excise <2000 lbs.) the Expiration Date may be a maximum of one day less than twenty-five months from the Effective Date. The day portion of the Expiration Date will always be the last day of the expiration month for all Class Codes with a staggered registration period. The Expiration month must be 02 and the day must be either 28 or 29 for all class codes with a fixed registration period.
Notes:
The Transit Plate Expiration Date may be a maximum of ten days from the application Effective Date.
For Class Codes CL and TL (Non-excise >2000 lbs. only), the Expiration Date month must be 02 and the day must be either 28 or 29 and can be a maximum of one day less than twenty-five months from the Effective Date.
