Windows Menu

The Windows menu contains the programs used to manage your desktop display within NDS Security. These commands allow you to start programs and to display the open programs in a variety of ways.

The table below describes the commands available.  Click the hyperlink to see detailed instructions on how to perform that operation.

Windows Menu Items

Launch Windows Menu

Opens multiple occurrences of selected windows on your screen.  This is a convenient way to compare and contrast information.

Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [w] [l]

Processes Menu

Allows you to see information about the status of specified processes, such as, updates, print functions, and email.

Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [w] [p]

Cascade

Displays all open windows in succession in the order they were first opened.  The Title Bar of each successive window displays behind the first window.

Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [w] [c]

Tile Vertically

Displays the open windows in a vertical orientation.

Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [w] [v]

Tile Horizontally

Displays the open windows in a horizontal orientation.

Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [w] [h]

Program Names

Displays a list of all open windows below the Tile Horizontally command. The window currently displayed has a check mark next to it.

Tip:  To bring another window to the front, click the name of the associated program.
