Clear Record

When maintaining a file, you can quickly clear the data currently displayed.  The program displays the cleared window with the choices that were available when first entering the window for the function.

For example, if you are entering an account and click the Clear  button, the data in all of the fields is erased, ready to enter a new account.

Directions:

You can use any of the following methods to clear the data in the window displayed:

• Click Clear , located on the Toolbar.

• Or, click the File menu, and then click Clear.

• Or, use the keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [ f] [c].

• Or, use the keyboard shortcut:  [CTRL + x].
  Tip:  [CTRL + x] is functional for most data entry, but may not be available for all windows.
