The Patient Referral Authorization Treatment Start Date is the start date of the patient's treatment.

Usually Treatment Start Dates are issued by the insurance carrier or the provider.
Treatment Start and End Dates affect Scheduling and Charge Entry.
To enter patient charges that are attached to a referral, the charge service date must fall within the referral Treatment Start and Treatment End Dates.
To enter a patient appointment that is attached to a referral, the appointment date must fall within the referral Treatment Start and Treatment End Dates.
You can view and maintain the Patient Referral Authorization Treatment Start Date during Patient Entry at the Referral Authorization Window.
Format: Date (mmddccyy - slashes and century optional)
