Field Description - Employer/Lawyer State

The Employer/Lawyer State is the US Postal Service State abbreviation associated with the address for the employer or law practice.  If you enter a City Code as the Employer/Lawyer City Name, the state displays, but you can edit it if necessary.

Note:  The Employer/Lawyer State information may print in box 9c of HCFA claim forms depending on who is financially responsible for the account.
