Data Dictionary Overview

The Data Dictionary contains the data definitions for information within the software module. You can use these data definitions, also known as Record Tables (or file layouts), when creating reports or other projects using third-party reporting tools.

When looking at the data definitions you will need to know the name of the Record Table that contains the field of information you want. You may be used to thinking in terms of file names. Each Record Table contains a list of fields with the field name, length, and format.

Record Tables
Record Table Name	Description
Patient Information
gmpat	Contains Patient information that can be viewed in the Patient Demographics window.
gmpatin	Contains Patient insurance information that displays on the Insurance area of Patient Demographics window.
gmpatin2	Contains additional patient insurance information.
gmguar	Contains patient guarantor information found on the Guarantor area of Patient Demographics window.
Services, Tickets & Payment Information
gmsdte	Contains patient tickets and associated charges information and can be viewed in the Transaction Details window.
gmspro	Contains procedure information associated with tickets and can been viewed in the Transaction Details window.
gmpay	Contains payment information that displays on the Transaction Details window.
Historical Services, Tickets & Payment Information
gmhisdte	Contains the patient ticket and charge information that is in history.
gmhispay	Contains the payment information that is in history.
gmhispro	Contains the procedure information associated with tickets that is in history.
Codes Information
gmmisc_diagnosis	Contains the diagnosis codes and associated diagnosis information found in Diagnosis Maintenance.
gmmisc_insurance	Contains the insurance codes and associated insurance information found in Insurance Maintenance.
gmmisc_procedure	Contains the procedure codes and associated procedure information found in Procedure Maintenance.
gmmisc_provider	Contains the provider codes and associated provider information found in Provider Maintenance.
gmmisc_referral	Contains the referring provider codes and associated referring provider information found in Referring Provider Maintenance.
gmmisc_transactioncode	Contains the transaction codes and associated transaction information found in Transaction Code Maintenance.
Appointments Information
gmappt_appointment	Contains patient appointment information.
