Drugs Lists Maintenance
Use Drugs Lists Maintenance to maintain value lists for each of the drop-down fields in the Patient Meds/Allergies Tab. A value list is simply a list of choices that displays as a drop-down list for a field within a specific window, panel or tab. Maintaining the Drugs value lists allows you to quickly and easily enter the information pertaining to the patient's medications and allergies.
Tips:
Do not confuse Drugs Lists Maintenance with Drugs Maintenance. They are two separate routines. Use Drugs Maintenance for maintaining the actual medications and use Drugs Lists Maintenance for maintaining information about prescribing medications such as, strength, length of time and quantity.
For more information about working with data in fields, see the Data Entry Guidelines.
