Export File

Use Export File to convert the data in the Export Work File  and create the export voter text file containing the voter registration information.  This is step 2 in the 2-step export voter file process.  If you encounter errors while exporting the voter file, contact NDS Technical Support for help.

Directions

• From the menu bar click Utilities, click Export File menu, click Voter Master and next click Export File.
  Keyboard Shortcut:  [ALT] [u] [e] [v] [e]

• For directions to export the voter File, click more.

  Export File Entries
  Destination	The Export File routine remembers and recalls the last entered export destination record name for your convenience.  Press [Tab] to accept or enter another destination name, or click to search for a destination name.
  Export
  Destination File	Displays the destination file name assigned to this Export Destination record.  Press [Tab] to accept or click to look for another destination file name.
  	To begin the export process, click this button.
  	To escape from this routine without exporting, click this box or click .
  	The export process begins and when complete the status window displays Process complete.  Click to close out of the completed routine. [ALT + c]
