Create Work File

Use Create Work File to build a work file of the voters that will be included in the export voter text file.  This is the first step in the export voter registration information process.  Click here for more information about exporting voter information.

Directions

• From the menu bar click Utilities, click Export File menu, click Voter Master and next click Create Work File.
  Keyboard Shortcut:[ALT] [u] [e] [v] [c]

• To create the Work File, click more.

  Create Work File Entries
  Create	To begin the create work file process click Create.
  	To escape from this routine without beginning, Click Cancel or click . [ALT +c]
  	To print the export work file exception report click Print. [ALT + p] NOTE:  It is important to print this report if error messages display in the Status window.
  OK	When the work file is complete, click to close out of this routine.
