For each Mortgage Holder Code, you can assign the Mortgage Book Number (or Registry of Deeds book number, which is associated with a page number) for the loan. You can assign up to four Mortgage Book Numbers to a Tax Account. The Book Number prints on line 1 of the Commitment Book (the Assessed Valuation & Taxes Report in the Assessing module) and on the Tax Bills.
Where-Used: Usually, the Assessing module assigns the Mortgage Book Numbers to a Tax Account. You can also update the Mortgage Book Numbers during Tax Master Maintenance at the Mortgage Tab and during Real Estate Lien Maintenance at the Property Information Tab. The Mortgage Book Number appears on the Tax Master Maintenance Print Report.
Format: up to 6 characters
