Field Description - Ret-ME Retiree Ins Amount

The Ret-ME Retiree Ins Amount is the flat dollar amount for the life insurance premium paid by retirees.

Tips:

• If the value for this field is not zero, it is included on the Build Monthly Work File for Maine as the Retired Employee Insurance Amount.

• If a flat Retiree Ins Amount exists for an individual employee, the flat amount overrides the amount calculated by using the Basic Monthly Retiree Insurance Rate, which is entered when you run the Build Monthly Work File.

• For retirees, this amount is used instead of the insurance values maintained during Retirement Table Maintenance (RET%nn).
