Field Description - Gross Pay Earnings Amount

The Gross Pay Earnings Amount is the sum of the detail line pay amounts, which is calculated before subtracting scheduled deductions and standard deductions.  You can see the calculated Gross Pay Earnings Amount for a specific paycheck during Check Entry in the Totals Area.

Note:  Gross Pay - Deductions = Net Pay
