Field Description - Fringe Amount

The Fringe Amount is the dollar amount or a calculation factor for a specific fringe benefit assigned to an employee.

Tips:

• The Fringe Amount defaults from the Fringe Standard Amount specified during Fringe Master Maintenance.  You can override the value.

• The Fringe Calculation Code determines how the Fringe Amount is processed.
  Note:  If the Fringe Calculation Code is  2 - Percent of Gross, then enter this value as a percentage.
  Example:  For 4.5%, enter 4.50.
