Electronic Registration Export Create Workfile

Use the Electronic Registration Export Create Work File routine to build the electronic registration export work file from the registration information maintained in the Motor Vehicle Registration Workbench.

Notes:

• The time period starting from the date of the last Daily/Cycle Update and ending with the date of the last Vehicle Receipts Post determines the vehicle registration transactions to be included in the export work file.

• Opening the Electronic Registration Export Create Work File Routine, click More.

   

  1.  Click Tools from the Menu Bar.

  2.  Click Export.

  3.  Click Electronic Registration.

  4.  Click Create Work File.

• Choosing the Selections at the Prompt Window, click More.

   

  Electronic Registration Export Create Workfile Prompts Tip:  To see more information about a field, click the hyperlink for the field name.
  Export Control ID	To accept the displayed Export Control ID for the electronic registration export process, press [Tab] or enter another Export Control. (up to 20 characters) Notes: The Export Control ID is maintained during Electronic Registration Export Control Maintenance. To search for an Export Control, click Search or press [CTRL + f].
  	To run the routine and generate any exception report, click Proceed, or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + p]
  	To escape from the routine without running it: Click Cancel. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + c] Or, click Close .
  Server Process Status	Displays information pertaining to the various phases of the create work file routine to guide you.
  	Note:  The status displays Complete when the process is ended.  In addition, the Message window displays Process Ended and Time Ended to alert you when the routine is complete.
  	To close the Server Process Status window when the routine is complete, click Close .  Important:  Before closing the window, review all message that display and verify that the message Process Ended displays.
