The Release Notes in this document encompass changes and enhancements included in the release of software version 26.03.01 for the NDS Inventory application as of March 1, 2026.

 

Notes: 

  • Release Note items are listed in order from newest to oldest.  Look for your software version number and the items listed above that point are items that are new and not part of your current version.

  • As with any Inventory release there may be new features contained within the release that require an additional investment in order to obtain or implement that feature. There may also be certain hardware or other third party software product requirements that may need to be purchased in order to implement the specific feature in question. Executive Console
Report History		 The Executive Console has been replaced with a new, more robust version called Report History.  The Report History displays in a grid view, all the reports run within the last 120 days.  Double-click a report to view it.  Right-click functions are available. 
In addition, each report that has a reporting toolbar will now include a Report History tool report history tool that will show the historical reports for just that report.  WI 3215		 22.04.01

  • Added to the screen an On Order quantity as well as an On-Hand quantity for the selected item.  WI 3156

Item Listing The report will now show the calculated List Price when using markup settings.  Previously, only the markup parameter was shown.  WI 3078 21.09.01
Item Master Maintenance Changed fields which allowed 5 decimal places to only allow 2 decimal places to maintain consistency.  This includes average cost, last cost, standard cost, and the fixed price fields.  Removed decimal place restrictions from the Weight field.  WI 3079 21.08.01
Transaction Entry Changed to now automatically create an inventory master if the record does not exist for the given item and location or destination location.  Previously, users were asked if they wanted to create a record..  WI 2813 21.06.21
Transaction History Journal Added an option to sort and range on the Transaction ID.  WI 2846 21.06.21
Transaction Post Added GL Category Totals to the Transaction Post report.  Both posted and unposted totals are tracked.  WI 2846 21.06.21
Menu Colors Added a configurable menu color management function to Settings gear settings, which allows menu colors per company, per user to be maintained.  WI 1546 21.06.01
